I’m going to try this 1 last time. 1968 fj40 California rig with no rust, or Bondo. I’ve had it for 3 years and its been sitting on my trailer. I’ve tuned it up changed all oils and moved the rear springs back an inch. It has a dull paint job but I like the color. It has a spring over with new shocks. 35 tires in so so condition, cracks. Front end has disk brakes, brakes need to be adjusted. It has new wheel cylinders and an 1 1/2 spacers. Not the original brake booster. It has no hard top, but has nice soft doors. Seats are after market and nice, seats have camo covers with multiple pockets. I hate the color. Inside is rhino lined and it was done nicely. Has rear front facing seat with storage compartment and seat belts. Side storage unites do not go with truck. It has a roll bar. Cruiser has always started even tho the carb need rebuilt or replaced. It’s a Weber with headers and aftermarket dizzy. Has aftermarket power steering that I think is not equipped to handle the tires also the belt squeals. Very clean engine compartment. New battery or at least not much usage.

This is what the cruiser needs
1 windshield wipers hooked up
2 horn hooked up
3 carb replacement or rebuilt
4 PS pump replaced or possibly smaller tires.
All lights work as they should

It also has a 4 speed and just he rear aftermarket gas tank. I guess you could put the original tank back in. It would require grinding the floor that cover the spot where the original goes.

My plan was to ship this back out west for trips on the rubicon. Still might happen if I don’t sell it. I’m sure I’ve missed a few things but I can check what ever you want
Price is $12,000

Oh needs speedo cable. I’ve owned a ton of cruisers and the body on this one is the best I’ve had, although it has a dull paint job. I bought it like this and did not care as my intentions were t wheel it.

What a great looking example (to me anyways) of a practical, not-afraid-to-scratch-it 40. I wish I had the cash. GLWS

Fun looking truck. It is in NY?

The rig also has a 4plus body lift and upgraded steering arms

Well took it for a spin by my house, carb is backfiring a little. I’m going to drive it all day to see if it magically disappears when warmed up. I’ve put maybe 100 miles on this thing since I bought it. I’m so confident I’m not taking any tools or my cell phone. I’m lying about the cell phone
