I have a 1967 rolling chassis and matching numbers engine with valid ca pink slip. engine was running when I took it out. chasis is in great shape no rust all original except the Rancho shocks. I will get pictures in a few days. $2000

What numbers does the engine match? After about early 65 know of nothing on the vehicle itself that anything that identifies what engine the 40 left the factory. Do you have some original paperwork to prove it's the original engine. It's not even on the chassis right?

let me look. I believe you are right. let me look later on today to see. I dont have any paperwork I was just going off the originality of the fj and the unibstructed engine compartment. no Micky mouse stuff.
