Hello, my vacuum line is loose at both ends, I have tried to tighten it but I do not want to break the nuts or the metal line inside the carb or dist.
Does anyone have any idea where to find a replacement line? Thanks.
here are some pictures for reference. The lines do not seem to have a flare at the end, should it have one? Any info is appreciated it.

I think it's suppose to swage down and tighten up - they look rounded on the corners like a gorilla had wrenched on them before, which could have damaged the seats. You might try some gasket compound - Permatex 2b is my choice Slip the fitting back, apply the compound to the tube, slide the nut over the compound, then put some on the threads and screw in the fitting.

Not a fan of vac advance/retard systems.

Thanks! I am tempted to cut the line at the end and put it again with the fitting. the fitting does not move fwd or back

Then just put the a good thick coat of the compound on the fitting threads - it will seal enough to provide good vac for many years.

Looks like the pipe is bent close to the nut and stopping it from sliding freely.
I'd try and straighten those sections out a bit so the nut is free.
