This FJ40 is 90% restored. 57000 original miles. Body: all parts with rust replaced with no putty and professionally painted. Seats including rear troop seats have been reupholstered with near original fabric. Inside tub herculined. Suspension replaced with Old Man Emu springs and shocks. New BFG's and white spoke Americans. Engine and drive train: original F motor with new ignition, carb, fuel pump, oil filter canister replacement, good even compression. 3 speed on column and original transfer case with few small drips in the usual places, everything works fine. The original top was in really bad shape and I couldn't make up my mind which route to pursue...and I still haven't. The heater is not installed but all parts are on hand. The rear seats aren't mounted and there are four new tires and five rims. Those are the major items.

I would compliment your truck but that would only get deleted, but does this have a top at all and does it have the fold down or swing out tailgate?

The original top was completely worn out and the tailgate is a bolt on diamond plate which I had planned on using with a Bestop softop.
