Up for sale is a 10/65 FJ40. CA truck PO had the chassis and body blasted and primed for paint a few years back. No rust or rot in the usual cruiser areas, minor surface rust from sitting outside. Body is very clean and straight, chassis has been repainted. It also has a complete hardtop with all glass intact. Doors have no damage or rot in the typical areas. Has original wheels and hub caps. Original seat in decent shape. I have boxes of parts that came with it (steering components, dash parts, pedals, ect.) Doesn't have engine/trans with it. would be a great platform for someone wanting a solid, complete pre-smog roller. Bought this with the intention of finishing the restoration but its more of a project than what I have time for or what it deserves. I have a clean title and current reg for it

I’m looking at a 71 chassis and body with great patina but no title. Also the frame on the 71 was converted to run a 350, which I would not want to put into it. For those reasons I’d be thinking to do a frame swap if I move ahead. Would this frame with title be a direct bolt on swap? I know there were some frame changes over the years but I'm unclear on what changed and when.
