I'm selling my axles('76 front and '65 rear) and someone asked me the other day if my rear axle is a full floater, but I told him I don't know---I'm yota-illiterate, so can anyone tell me if this thing is full float or semi-float or ???? I bought them to go under my willys, but I'm going a different direction--any help would be appreciated----chris

The following FJ has a rear Full Float axles.
You can look at the center of the rim. The axle extends out.
If yours is level with the rims then it is not Full float.
Also if you have a differential cover , it is not a full float.
My guess is yours is not a full float.

IF the center section of the rear axle has a raised section that looks like the front hub housing, with small nuts and studs holding a flange in place, it is a FF. If it just has 6 large studs for the wheel lugnuts, it is not.
