GR to S terminal, GY to B terminal, 2x GW to H terminal on horn relay (pic shows wires hooked up but maybe to wrong terminals). Fusible link on W wire at starter solenoid (pic shows nothing, old rigs had no main circuit protection - @Coolerman). Just checking. 😀

Mosley Motors had a custom aluminum fan with shroud and Spal electric fan built to cool the RobocopF motor

I’m not a big fan of the looks of an aluminum radiator under the hood of a Cruiser so I dropped it off with the pros at Powder Keg Finishes and they made it blend in with the rest of the beautiful pieces under the hood they already provided. They taped off the fins and powdered the rest

The fit was great from Mosley. This is a super nice setup. Give @FJ60Cam a shout for your radiator needs

Got it! Thanks. I took a picture and I could not find it.

We will have lots of wires under here for sure and will have to address harness protection and panels for 12v and all. This will be done when we get the motor in place at Mosley Motors but I for sure want to have what I have done correct so we don’t have to redo. Thanks for the close look.

The cowl was still a bit sticky for coat #2 when I got back from Easter lunch with the family so I decided to dive into the @lcwizard 4Plus swing out.

This truck was one of the late models that had the spare tire mounted underneath like an LPB Long Bed and we both really like the looks of the spare mounted on the back like the other 45 SWBs.

Of course the answer is the 4 Plus swingout.

I’ve put 8 of these things on now and the vertical frame drilling still sucks. This time though I was armed with 3 drills and 3 new bits and some Tap Magic.

First though I had to grind out the drips and bondo in the rear crossmember and repaint.

Who puts bondo on the frame??

When I put the bumper up it was blocking the nasty Wal Mart bolts holding the tailgate I was planning on replacing with Metric Overland stainless. Well, I forgot that I had not ordered my bolts for this project yet so I had to scrounge up enough to do two of the hinges that will be blocked out.

I’ll replace the rest of this junk later. 13mm head to boot 🙄

Good Bolts.....

Just catching up on this thread... ih813mm

I have never seen a powdercoated aftermarket radiator. That is BY FAR the best aftermarket radiator I have ever seen. Goodness gracious.

Let me have a look at my files. I think I may have them. If so I’ll send a couple with your Stainless Hinge Pin Sets.
Thanks!

If you have those stickers I’d take a set as well. You can throw them in @wngrog package. I can grab them from him. I can shoot you a message if you do and we can settle up.

I like that fan setup. Looks really nice.

The Grog has good taste and an eye for aesthetics!

A shiny aluminum radiator ranks up there with a square Weber air filter among the items that can wreck a beautiful Land Cruiser engine bay

I threw an OEM one on the shelf for Pikachu for this very reason. The aluminum works really well, but it’s gotta go eventually.

Tedious things.

Organizing the interior bolts and screws I ran through the Harbor Freight parts cleaner last night. Some I’ll use. Some I won’t. Screws for sure though. That thing knocked off all the paint. Really cool. Thanks @RustyNailJustin for bullying me into one.

I tossed a load of other stuff in I doubt I will reuse but will go in the used bolt stash

Finally I started wiring in the Koito H4 lights into the old headlight buckets. Basically all I did was lop off the 2’ extra wire in the new harness and reinstall the plug.

Next I swapped out the OEM U shaped ends that go on the fender panel and added spade connector blades and installed them in the new harness plug.
Easy but tedious. Off to the passenger fender now.

Well she's off! The freight company was behind schedule but they showed up today on time even!

‘‘Twas a good afternoon. Finished up the wiring for the lights and tested everything with the PowerProbe and it works.

From what I can tell from all my early 40 series, seems they did not come with overflow bottles for the radiator.

I was able to locate an early overflow bottle holder and purchased a @Racer65 bottle for it.

I ditched my passenger side Elephant Horn to do the same in Project Patina but I wanted this one to stay.

I made a bracket and used rivnuts to attach it to the radiator support.

I was also able to use the bolts to secure the wiring for the H4s and tuck it out of sight.

I got the rear harness cleaned up and retaped
and plugged into the front as well as put some bolts and nuts where some holes were left in the firewall.

In this day and age there is no better battery!
We have tried everything in our desert car and Odyssey is the only thing that lives.
I swap them out of 4619 every season and pit them in my fleet one at a time.
