So Rotunda has been here local for about 18
Months. SteveO bangs around town in it. No issues.

This weekend he decided to drive it to New Orleans

He sent me this video .....

So he rolled it up behind me when I was heading home with Powda Blue and we tore into it

We yanked it out planning to send it back
To Georg to make it right but he said he would send us a new top cover and some misc parts to get us going so no need to ship.

New top cover should do it. Sounds like the 1-2 shift rail detents got screwed up somehow - the shift lever is blocked out from coming out of reverse, thru the neutral gate and picking up the 1-2 shift rail, and therefore no 3-4 rail either. My guess. Mainshaft gears look pretty good. Some light frosting on the 3rd gear along the pitch line = no issue for another 200k miles :) First gear looks like it has some loading marks out at the end of the gear face. But, no issues. Can't see the synchro surfaces, but if no reported issues with shift quality, then no worries. Shift fork pads look good. Not sure how many miles on that trans, but it looks pretty good - almost new. Those are some beefy gears. My 2 cents. Nice truck!

What did he do to get it back on the road to follow you home?
The only thing I could do... "Force it".... The main issues were getting from Reverse into first and then from 3/4 to 1/2... considering it was a highway drive... I just kept it in 1/2 until I got on the highway and then only had to downshift to 1/2 2x the rest of the trip... Gas stop and getting off the interstate, the 1/2 gate and 3/4 gate operated smoothly and even going from 2 - 3 wasn't difficult, it was only in a bind when trying to move laterally through the shift gates.
