Where are you getting those new Koitos from?

$50 for a set of two with full harness from your local Toyota dealer. Tons of info on them here on Mud. I don’t have PN in front of me.

Cheapest Toyota part ever

Just Got them ordered and shipped to me for $56. Works for me.

EDIT: just got the call, are you sure your VIN is correct??? The joys of a 70 series, and one that has the ending of 000001.

Made a run to the Powder coater this am in the Warthog. He had a pipe bust last night and it was anarchy over there.

Then my painter called and said he could make a house call tomorrow for the firewall and interior.
I’ve been washing and scrubbing furiously since

Seam seal refresh

I’ve never prepped for a paint job like this so hopefully I did most of it right and Mike can paint and not tape tomorrow morning.

This will be Nice.

Lockwood has some proper white check material to redo these horribly over painted steps. Glad I took them off. The tub between them and the tub was pretty rusty

Can you get access with the fluid film probe inside the rocker panels? There might be access via a bolt on the bottom of the A pillar. Good to get that area in check but also a risk of breaking the access bolt or weld nut.

I finally got a call back from freight we are shipping next week.
@jmlockwood your diffs and front end are ready to get on a pallet. Everything turned out excellent! I would run this in any of my FJ40 or 45 width rigs any day.
RustyNailRacing components are not easy to get so enjoy it and your awesome 45!

I’m so impatient I want to rip all the tape off and look but I can’t.

The fuel tank, tranny hump and tool box cover turned out great.

He did the inside real good. Nice to see it all one color

I was watching the leftover paint and as soon as it looked like it was about to get unusable I busted into the masking and then got a Qtip or 10 and touched it up.

I could not be happier. Turns out this is Coronado Beige, not Dune like I was calling it earlier. That was the OG color of the truck.

Single stage epoxy.

45 days since this thing landed the ratchets are getting turned counter-clockwise and the parts are about to start going on.
