For sale is my 1961 FJ40 Toyota Landcruiser. Love this thing... It has the vintage look, which I've personally always preferred. No rot issues whatsoever. This is not a project, it is ready to roll and have a blast right away. This FJ runs and drives like it should. Very bumpy and clunky (haha). FJ is a blast to drive! This truck has never been abused off road. Great for getting to that private fishing hole in style! Comes with tires and wheels you see on it. This was the second year that the fj40 was sold in the US. They still shared a bunch of parts with the FJ25 at this time. I have had the ID number confirmed to match the model year stated. This truck is valued at and insured for more than $15,000. I've kept it mostly in storage and joy rides here and there.

Recent work includes:
Adjusted timing
Rebuilt carberator
Replaced water pump and belt
Replaced brake master cylinder

I have several random parts still kicking around that could be included with the sale

I prefer CASH, but could be interested in a trades

I can take Credit Cards through my construction business if needed
Also, can help arrange shipping with a local shipper here if needed

This guy had had this for years. $14k seems a little steep. Both then again, it is a ‘61. Check out the cool hole in the driver apron for the air cleaner.

Thats a cool old 40. Sending link to my sister and her husband in Mass. They get up to Maine pretty often and love my old Toyotas. Value will go up a bunch just by getting those crappy wheels and thornturds off of it and replacing with some proper shoes.,😉

Had it been original paint, I'd never have posted it in the for sale area! It would be gone

still looking for a nice patina rig will trade a FJ45 for one

I think I remember now. I tried (nicely) to tell the guy the his diamond plated floor was a dealbreaker. He tried to educate me that this was factory for ‘61.

I don't see the seams between the rockers and tub. Maybe it's just the pictures.
He writes "This truck is valued at and insured for more than $15,000"
