hi guys been awile was driving the 25ht last week and stoped would not start no fuel in carb no fire pulled valve cover nothing bent turned over motor nothing move on top end pulled timing cover fiber cam ting gear missing some teeth order new gear should be in fri did not see anything else that might give me trouble yet 55 years and under 20,200 miles everthing else looked clean

Age kills the fiber gears more than mileage. I have a thread here somewhere. Worth a check on the push rods, if it happened at rpm.

Hi Guys parts store now says parts are on backorder. does anyone have a replacement cam timing gear they would want to sell? so i can get my fixed. thanks Bill 764-621-4004

It is still available from Toyota. I just called a dealership to confirm.

the part number shows to be the same through the fj60 but does anyone know the difference between fj60 and fj62 gears? i have a spare cam but i think it might be from a 62

Got cam gear on and every put back together. nothing bent or broken. runs great every thing adjusted . on the road again.
