Cheap, something like 40-50 bucks a piece. They did not even charge extra for the "custom" backspacing.

When did you get these done? The price of steel seems to have effected the price of rims, as the last batch I had custom ordered were in the $45.00 to $50.00USD range before the Unique factory custom charge of $15.00USD per wheel was added on. If this is recent, you got a very good deal.

21-7760 is white
42-7760 is black
27-7760 is chrome

All are 16x7.

Unique changed their outer manufacturer a while back, and the max they can move the inner is .5" now, which brings the 7760 series right to 3.5". Great for anything 33" and under. If you much taller, you will start hitting the springs on turn, and need spacers (eg 35x10.5R16 SSR's).

I would like to find out if the 3.5" will clear the LTB-08 (34x10.5-16).

The factory 16x6 steely is noticably heavier, though I have not had any issues with the Uniques.

Great info Greg.

so if i want more than 33 (eventually) it might be good to get 3.25 or 3" backspacing? would that help if i were going maybe to a 35? I want to run 285/75 16 on 16x8 for starters, but with options to 35 down the road. Thanks!!!

You know, after looking I may try and get Allied Wheels, 16X8 or something with the normal 4.5" backspacing. With the adapters from Marlin that are either 1" or 1.25". That would keep me from having to special order them or pay shipping.

HMmmmmmmmmmm, I will have to price that out and see what happens.

I have the Unique 21-7760, with 4" BS, on 1.5" spacers, with 35x10.5x16 SSR's, and they clear fine on the BJ74. I figured the same thing...why pay the extra for custom BS when I would need spacers anyway.

3.5" is enough for 33. Sorry if I made it sound that they would not. I have seen and also run 255/85/R16 on these cutoms Uniques, with no issues. As soon as I went up to 35" the lugs started hitting the springs.

FWIW I have also run 255/85/R16's with the Uniques 4" BS and had no rubbage with the BJ42, however I do know some people have had to turn out the stops on the front, and the rear would rub the inner wheelwell when flexed.

I am sure the prices have changed. I bought mine in 2002. Now I run 35x12.5x15s on 15x8 with 3.75 BS and 1.0 spacers.

Mike- I'm running '05 Tundra 17 inch rims on my 62 with no isssues. They bolt on. You can find them quite easly on E-bay. Dave

Dave

Thanks. That sounds like an attractive option. Plus, the tires would interchange with my Expedition.
