Are there factory (OEM) wheels that I can fit on my 60 without alterations? Looking for something that will allow taller (but not wider) load range D or E tires for my truck...

Any help?

I think if you do a search for 16X7 you'll find a bunch of info. Gonna go with 255/85/16?

16" wheels: smart move for the 60...if you can get rims that fit correctly. Many have said that Toyta part # 42601-60262-03 is a factory steel 16[x6"?] you can get from a discount dealer for $98 or so. Haven't seen one yet, though. 16" wheels would have been better that the 33" tires/15" wheels I've got...the tall sidewall on the 33 is noticably flexy, and 8 or 10 ply would be nice.

Looking for a set of wheels/tires to go with 4.10 factory e-lockers. I was thinking about 33" to 34" and about 10.5" section width, but heavier ply rating.

I was thinking of GY MT/Rs in 285/75 PR16 - load range D - 33.1" X 11.3...

'Course, I'll have to get matching rims and tires for my trailer... 8 rims and tires in all. Hmmmm... $$$. But I hate sidewall cuts.

I run Tacoma rims with 1" spacers. Works great. (Actually, 1" in rear, .75" up front). Wheels are 16x7" Tires are 33x11.5. (285-75/r-16).

Hey Doc! Where did you get the .75" spacers? That would be perfect for my 15X8s to move them from 3.75BS to 3" even if I ever move up to Toyos 35X13.50. Of course I am a ways from doing that. They arent the Mr Gasket type are they?

Thanks!

Thanks!

Try the Marlin Crawler website, they seem to have the best quality/price/selection of them around.

No, they are not the Mr. Gasket spacers.

It's a bolt on spacer that effectively gives you new wheel studs.

So 16" wheels are better than 15"? I'm about to upgrade my wheels/tires and was wondering if I should stay with 15's or go to 16's. Was aiming at a 33x12.50 (PS, what's the metric equivalent of that size?)

THANKS! I have seen others that seem to be all 1.5" or bigger....

Not true, but there are some tire options for 16" wheels that are better than 15" wheels.

Go to your local Discount Tire shop and ask them to order some from Unique with a 3.5" backspacing.

I have 5 I used on my 60 for a while with 265/75-16s.

I second the unique, thats whats guys up here are going with.

I run factory 16"s on my 60. bought from yota. but they are 16x6. too narrow for fat fawk tires.

I only run 235/85 r16. they are very nice, load range E.

you want a 16 x 7 or 16x 8 to run the 255/85r16 which is 33.4 x 10.3 x 16 around about. a 235/85 r16 is about 32.5 and 9.5 wide.

IMOP 235/85R16 is the BEST size on a 60, looks like it was meant to be there. BUT hey thats IMOP!

search the intl forum for a lot of info on 16's we rehashed this many many times.

What do you suggest to have to be able to run 12.5 inch wide tires though? Is 7 inches too little?

Cheap, something like 40-50 bucks a piece. They did not even charge extra for the "custom" backspacing.

when I plan buy new wheels, I think in this issue ..

One example of good mix use tires, are BFG Crawlers .. big size, availables in 17, probable, the tire market contiues in the same line in the future ..

Off course .. boggers or Irocks continue making 15 tires .. but are not my target.
