Hey dudes
Sorry about the crosspost in the 40 series forum but wasnt sure where to put this ;)

A mate of mine just bought a 70 series cruiser and there are a few mods on the cards including a SOA and some big momma wheels. Been offered some 38x12.5x16.5s TSLs BRAND new and crazy cheap so am frantically trying to find some suitable wheels before the deal expires. Been reading up on the 16.5" wheels and no-one seems to run/like them because of their unwillingness to hold onto a bead, other than getting a full custom bead lock wheel made up anybody have any ideas/sources for something suitable? Money is at a premium and if this deal means stupid amounts of money invested in rims then will probably just settle for smaller tyres and good ol 15"s. Thanks in advance guys.

hummers, recentered and new center

some chevy wheels 16.5 did have a outer safety bead, but would require new centers

btw in the market for 38s or larger :)

Had a chance to spend time with John this weekend and inspect his product...I was very impressed. Very stout rim design, beadlock works on both inner and outer, and, particularly for a 16.5, it solves a lot of issues. Price, not much different than a "normal" beadlock, and you can get funky with your design work on the centers.
