Did they ever ship these or was it an inventory error by Partsouq?
Per the email i got they were doing an inventory while redoing their warehouse so there would be a shipping delay. My guess is that they found some, someone snagged them up. Then all our orders got canceled.

That’s not how these companies work, guys.

I assume they all use the same distribution. Like ordering at your toyota dealer. There has to be something different because I ordered the same parts from Amayama, Partsouq, and Megazip with two of them to say it is discontinued and the other to fullful it.

I have had this type of experience recently. Partsouq had something in stock, but when they sent my order, the part was not to be found. Emailed them and found out that their supplier did not want to give them the part. Welp, went over to amayama and ordered with no issue. Now Partsouq shows the part stock down to 0 (was only 1 when I tried to order), not sure about what kinda black magic occurred for one source to get it and not another.

My megazip order finally was canceled. I found some for sale locally. Are the toyota/lexus labels newer stock and the toyota only older stock. Or did they interchange them?

The Lexus-branded packaging is newer.

The Peru ones above are for sure counterfeits. Even the photo itself is from somewhere else.

I've been ordering them from Argentina for the past few weeks with some success. It is a unique situation there because of currency controls. So the parts stores tend to carry a large inventory for inflation protections. Mostly I've been able to pick up a few that had some age to them. Finally came across a vendor with 13 in stock that confirmed the part number. A mixed bag showed up. I'm fortunate to get 3 real ones on the lot. So it wasn't worth returning the order since I would have to send the big ones back as well.

Mostly can just find an occasional single item at this point which is cost-prohibitive with shipping. So might not be worth the hassle if the replacement starts showing up. One large dealership has quite a few but they selling it as a kit along with the air filter and diesel fuel filter. I was hoping to come across some giant stash of them but not yet.

Does anyone know how the 40002 compares to the YZZD3?

anyone know how the DENSO 150-2066 filer compares to the 15600-41010 filter? or are they the same filter?

This is correct. Toyota has discontinued the Japan manufactured version of the 15600-41010.

I would use 15601-44011 instead. From 7M-GTE Supra. Japan manufactured. Not available in US. Has to come from overseas.

It appears the 15601-44011 is discontinued as well now. Amayama lists the Thailand-made 90915-40002 as an "original replacement," so I ordered one. Peering down the center bore, it appears that its media and design are similar to the Thai 90915-YZZD4, but in a larger diameter.

As an aside, I was cautiously optimistic because Amayama also lists a Thai 90915-20004 separately from the YZZD4. However, upon arrival it appears identical to the Thai D4. Definitely not the same as my sole remaining Japan -20004.

Anyone have the wrench size for the 15600-41010? Many thanks.

Amayama is showing 15600-41010 & 15601-44011 in stock again so I placed order along wirh one of these for the novelty. Might be another supplier stocking error like with partsouq the last time.

I tried one last order in Argentina at a dealership. They confirmed original parts without replacement and all Toyota Thailand filters arrived. It was $17 a filter after a good exchange rates so not worth keeping them this time. Fortunately free returns so they are all going back.

I ordered the two they had "in stock" and it's currently reading as "ordered from the supplier". If these actually ship to me, I'll have 3 in my stash. I hope it's not NLA as I rather enjoy using that bespoke Toyota big can wrench. :)

UPDATE: Did not ship, NLA

"ordered from supplier" changed to "arrived at warehouse" but the quantity dropped from 18 down to 2. So seems they found a couple. I don't know what to make of that.

If you get them it is a bona fied miracle.

Amazing! How much was the actual freight?
