I bought a few 145 liter brand new stainless steel longe range tanks, these are nos and come nicely packed with all the mounting brackets and neccesities but no filler caps I think.

These are for the Land Cruiser 76 and 77 series but I believe these can also be mounted under the 75/78 troopies as the frames seems to be almost the same , I will test this as soon as my troopie and the tanks arrive here at the end of May

Limited quantity available and MSRP in Europe was 1350 Euro or about 1700 USD.

I am selling these at a no brainer price of 650 usd ,I only have 6 available of these brand new in the box

Joe can you throw up some measurements for those of us not afraid of trying to make these work in non factory locations? When they are in front of you of course. Gracias. Thats a mighty purdy tank at a great price.

Mine are already in the container but I will try to contact someone back home that is installing one in his troopy for the measurements.

I got some measurements but they are approximate as my buddy has his tank stored on a shelve buried under other parts so here it goes

85 cm between the frame rails
36 cm deep
67cm long

A few people asked me if these have baffles in them,I found a pic from the bottom of the tank and as you can see there is something welded inside of them.

I measured the existing tank on my 77, and also eyeballed the dimensions of the new tank of how it would fit. The depth and the width is close to stock, the length of the stock is about 45cm or 18inches, this one is just over 26". Based on the pics it looks like the two depressions are meant to stradle the stock strap mounts and extend below the tool compartment. The stock tank hangs about 6" below the compartments, depending from where 36cm or 14" is taken it appears this one will hang a few inches lower. Which makes sense since its almost double the capacity, the volume has to come from somewhere. For 99% of us who don't wheel hard this is a non issue, but it will be a little bigger target for rocks, excited to see it mounted up, with a 700 mile range.

Interesting to see that your 77 has the fuel tank behind the front axle and the troopy’s have them in front of the rear axle. That means that for the 77 this is an uograde to the stock tank and for the troopy an opportunity to install a secondary tank.

Hmm, I wonder if that would fit the rear of my bobbed 45 frame. The factory 76 tank may work with a little modification...going to need to take a few measurements.

Joe, will this fit the 73?

Not without major modifications I think these are more then 50% larger, lwb cruisers have the space but the mwb might be a bit short in the back.

Unpacked one of the tanks for measurements.

These are the real deal for overlanding made in South Africa, only 2 more available.

These are for 76/77 models but I am gonna install one in a 75 series, I have a few of the fuel door setups available also if someone else wants to use these as a auxilary tank on a troopy.

Up and still 2 available
