Hi Mike,

thanks for posting on this almost-dead forum - too bad we don't have a suitable rig to attend Mardi Crawl:

our 80 series now lives in Arizona (needed it for family visiting in 2018, after the LX450 there blew the motor on Christmas 2017 )

and while we do have a GX470 now in Baton Rouge (as of summer 2018), it is not built to be a rockcrawler

we did take it offroad in Big Bend National Park, though ;) - and, as expected, the truck did quite well on the AT tires installed by the PO :steer:

Wow! Good to hear from you Claudia. Yeah, when Woody changed the forum software (?) years ago, no one cared for it and moved almost exclusively to FB unfortunately. I am still on MUD quite a bit, but mostly hanging out in the GX460 forum.

As for MK, there are plenty of trails at HPO that are just a drive through the woods if you want to come hang out. Plus there's always open seats in someone else's rig if you want to ride some of the harder trails. And then of course there's the people and the food (you know we like to eat :D ). And if you feel like exploring during the day, Bankhead National Forest is only about 30-40 min away. So, if you want something to do for the weekend, load up the GX and come on out.

Many thanks to your club for hosting another great Mardi Krawl !
