Looking like 3 to Bishop, will update at lunch stop.

Did y'all make your lunch stop yet? I'm in Lone Pine now, just checking on the group. If you already finished lunch, could someone share your current location? Thanks.

I’m in Bishop. Anyone here yet? I have the radio on.

We are in position. Light rain currently, have the place to ourselves.

Okay. I'll drive up as soon as I can. I'll see y'all up there.

Glad you could make it! This was one of the best trips yet.

not much holding that wheel on!!!!
It was literally 1 mile from home. I pulled the wheel spacer and used it's lug nuts on the OG studs to drive home. Always something... At least it didn't let go on the freeway.

Whew, what an adventure that was! We had 12 trucks in total including 2 on our end. My 80 and finally my FJ60 that has been an ongoing 5 year project. In a sense, for us, this was as much a story of a trip as it was a truck trying to get the 60 ready for the jaunt. With 6 of us plus dog, we can't come close to fitting into one Land Cruiser. This year, I brought my kids electric bikes. My 7 year old had his 36V razor that's up to 1000W, my 11 year old had his 60V 3000W razor, my 11 year old was going to bring his stealth bomber but the controller fried a few days before departure so I let him bring his CR85 (Greta), and I had my stealth bomber clone (8000W beast). More on that later.

One thing that I think made this trip work with so many rigs was flexibility. Those who were ready to head out did and those of us who needed more time took it. It definitely reduced the stress of our end of trying to get our 4 kids ready to go on a tight schedule.

Day 1 we met some of the group at the 76 and I15 park and ride and hit the road around 8AM. It was an uneventful drive so I'll let the pictures pick it up in Bishop.

Rathtar our 80 driven by my wife next to Hamilt0n's 4unner and Patriot trailer.

Wampa the 60! It was very gratifying to see this truck making it.
