Thanks for all the replies about cell service, I just may be able to make this event after all. Edit, I just checked out the link for the music festival, and it looks like they have sets going until 3 and 4AM on Friday and Saturday nights. Bring your ear plugs if you want to sleep.

Done and DONE! Got the truck aligned today. It drives straight as a die and is surprisingly quite and smooth given the size and tread of these tires.

There is definitely more road feel with the 60 box and less linkage. It is also much more responsive and I like it. Also no bump-steer what so ever and no steering dampener.

Hey guys,
My wife and I had a great time. Thanks for taking us in! I'm glad Chris got his truck safely off the trail safely. We hope to see y'all again for some wheeling!

Bob was distracting me.......ect.....ect.....ect...... And well you know........ BAM!!!! I was stuck on that Dam tree....luckily I was behind that awesomely built Heep with the 28" tires, open Dana 30s and the ARB bumper with the 1/4 inch recovery holes. We tried to pull it over the tree but all it was doing was lifting my rear tires off the ground. Then I realized I had the twin sticks in neutral. :( so then I put it in 2Low with Bob in the passenger seat and Nipples showing off his best features I drove over the tree and then stopped in another 15' when the Heep got stuck again!
Oh you meant the other story! I liked this one better.

What's the story behind this! And where are the pictures!

Broke off my knuckle studs. Burl ran to his moms and got a knuckle assembly off my spare 40 and we put it on an drove it out.
Now the question is new small bolt knuckle, upgrade to large bolt knuckle (new high steering arm), or go big ball'er and go with 6 stud knuckles and arms.

That was the exact reason I was thinking!

As I recall, we were discussing your steering problems not long before disaster struck. Seems like we decided to sit in the nice warm truck instead of checking the steering components - oh well ... Once the steering arm sheared off Burl knew exactly what needed to be fixed.

I did get out and check the pitman arm, TREs, and TRE nuts and they were good!
Good thing we had a Burl(edit Nipples)!
