Does anyone know how the snowfall this winter compared to previous? More or less snow? I drove through on 550 last week and it seemed like there was a lot.

Snowpack is below average for this time of year. Watershed is below average and west of the Rockies remains in a drought (per usual).
But it snowed there over night... And by there, I mean the San Juans.

Snowpack is actually pretty poor this year; I fear it will be a long dry summer. Statewide we're at 78% with the San Juan's being at 61%

I swung through Silverton last Thursday (4/22) after leaving @Austin Hot Shoe in route to Denver. Trailheads to Stony, Minnie, and Maggie appeared open, but I did not not try them. Went up CR2 (I think) towards Animas Forks. Made it to within eyesight of the lower vault toilets, but a mining crew was tinkering with some equipment in the road, so I turned around. A few areas of snow on the road, no deeper than 6-8 inches.

As a side note, I had lunch at the Kendall Mtn Cafe, and overheard some locals discussing concerns about another down year due to all the construction on 50. I’ll be there in July and do my part to support the local businesses.

Yeah, that’s why we need replacements available???????? @bluecruiser we need to continue the HIH spirit even after windshield replacement!

I tried to move mine to the tailgate where the event stickers are but destroyed the HIH6 sticker. have the rest saved

I had 6 and 7 on a windshield that cracked so I never put on 8 and 9. They're just sitting in a drawer if anyone wants them!

I think for the actual physical HIHX event, getting old stickers made up, is a good idea. I will put it on the good idea list...thx

I’m happy to pay for the stickers if it helps, no problem. You guys are awesome! You hear it all the time, but thanks for all you do, and have done through the years for this event!!!

Planning to have them all back for HIHX. Whenever I see a 100 around town the first thing I look for is the HIH windshield sticker.
