105 body electrical diagram badly needed (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys,

First post on this forum, although I am active on other forums (landcruiser.net) and hoping you guys can help me.

My 105 has factory installed dual fuel tanks, with a switch on the dash that activates a solenoid to change the tank supplying fuel. When this switch is flipped it also does some electrical magic that changes the fuel gauge to show the level from the supplying tank - or at least it is supposed to. What actually happens is that the solenoid activates, so I can pull fuel from the sub-tank, but the gauge shows a reading from the main tank.

Discussions with the knowledgable chaps on other forums have us thinking that there is probably a blow relay somewhere that is the cause, but for the life of me I can't find it, despite having pulled the truck to bits looking for it.

What I need is the body electrical wiring diagram for the truck, but being a 105 it is proving impossible to find. I actually found a link on here for it but the link no longer works. (thread here 105 with a 1HZ wiring diagram needed)

Does anyone have this diagram? or know where I could find it? (or even better know where the relay is?)

Its not the entire manual in one piece but the contents link to a few PDF files you can view online and even download.
Click on the link that says ELECTRICAL WIRING DIAGRAM and scroll down to the HZJ105 page in the document.

Hope its the right one as i need it for my 105 as well.

This is an old thread, but has anyone found the EWD for a HZJ105 for 1999-08/2002?

All the EWD I've found (and there's been a few) don't have the sub-tank wiring for the 1HZ (only the 1FZ-FE and 2UR-FE).

I've found the wiring for the 08/2002 an on, but the instrumentation cluster electronics appear different enough that it's not applicable to the pre 08/2002.

Sadly no. The sub-tank change over is listed for the pre 08/2002 1FZ-FE and 2UR-FE.
For all the diesel engines there's no indication of how it's wired.
(There is a diagram for the 08/2002 and on, but I'm after the pre-update diagram).

I was looking for the wiring diagram for something different. FYI I found the 'Fuel Tank Changeover (Diesel)' diagram in the same link. I hope this helps

Thanks for the thought Matanda, but unfortunately this diagram is for post 08/2002. (You can tell as connector 2Q is referenced, which was used post update).

I've figured out the wiring to enable the sub-tank on the pre-08/2002 models. See the schematic.
