105 with a 1HZ wiring diagram needed

Our neighbors out here in Mokanji, Sierra Leone just got a used 2000 or 2001 '105 with the 1HZ non-turbo straight six. It's registered as a 1994 which we all know is simply NOT possible when it is a '105.

The wiring has been sliced and diced so bad that not too many of the dash lights work and some meters don't work either. Right now it would be nice to have the fuel gauge working so they know if it's soon pushing time. It has the dual tank option apparently.

A wiring diagram might come in handy to try to put things right (assuming that is even possible at this point).

I might snap a picture or two with it next to the '60 tomorrow.

John, any idea of the sizes of these PDF files? Internet where we live is less than 56k dialup through the cell phone network but if I go elsewhere I can get better speeds. It'll help me decide where to download.

They are not small files Charles. Best to go where you have a good high speed internet - like at the mine camp if you still get out there for some R&R time. I started downloading each one so I could get a number of the file size. I 've posted them below. The electronic parts catalog appears to be a dead link. I tried searching for it on piratebay but could not find it.

I have another couple of questions on the '105.

At the fuel filler which hose goes to the main tank and which goes to the sub tank? The fuel gauges don't work (probably an electrical problem) so we don't know how much fuel is in it. We put 5 gallons in the front hose and 10 in the rear figuring the rear is the main tank.

Also, the tach shows way low on the RPM readings. At idle it shows basically "0" and at 70kph in 5th it shows a mere 700 rpm!! Any ideas? I'm guessing maybe the sender was changed from a different vehicle.

Interesting!! Sub tank is in the rear and main tank is up by the frame rail midships.

That sticker is long gone in this truck.

Does anyone have updated download links for the 1HZ engine repair manuals and any other manuals that would help with the transmission, transfer case, fuel injector pump, etc? None of the above links work anymore. Thanks!

Have a look in the 70 series forum at the top. I dont know if the free ones are working but I found some for about $7 per manual to download. It in the last post.
You would need the 1HZ engine manual for the engine, fuel pump, engine electrical and a Body chassis manual for the transmission, body and body electrical.
