Hi
We just built custom rear bumper for 100 Land Cruiser
Owner of the truck order the bumper to be as close as possible to the body for better departure angle, and with HD receiver hitch for towing, recovery points.
So we cut off rear cross member. Bumper bolted to original points on the end of the frame rails, and side wings have brackets bolted to the frame. Hitch receiver has additional links bolted to the same brackets.

I have to ask... will it fit an LX? ;p

Looks great can you guys make a front bumper winch compatable for a 100 series in the 800 range like the Tacomas pictured

Very nice oleg, I'm jealous I didn't bring mine by earlier.

Looks like Christo's design...

Looks like a Sleeoffroad.com knockoff.

Go get a vendor star before you pimp your s*** on this board.

PM Woody for info on pimping.

Not really a Slee knockoff Nolen.

Irbis (Oleg and family) is Christo's body and metal guy--they do custom fabrication. From my understanding when I visited both Christo and Oleg, they work together on projects (for example, Christo's FZJ85) and Oleg does a bunch of stuff on other Toyota trucks and cars.

They use Christo's swing out bearing mechanism/housing...

IIRC, wasn't Christo's bumper originally based on Lance's original 80 series rear bumper? Not sure on the lineage of both of these.

That said, Oleg's stuff is top notch....really nice fabricating and he does whatever the customer wants....

Best.

More of a 4x4 labs knock off than slee. You don't have to cut the frame to install Christo's bumper. Better departure angle? Probably not by much but some.

Oleg does good work. Nice thing, like beno said, you can add a tweak here and there if you want.

Oh yea, settle down Nolen :grinpimp:

I'm very pleased with the rear bumper(I own the green 100) The departure angle is better than I expected. Sure It's kind of like a Slee rear bumper, If you took a Sawzall too it and removed 3 inches. Christo does great work. I'm happy with the Sliders and the other work I've had them do.

At the top of this thread is currently a "support you advertising vendor" with a link to Irbis, Sorry Nolen.

What I am even happier with is the lower control arm retubing and mount repairs/ skid plated. That's the work I actully needed. While your in there why not do a rear bumper.

Treeroot, you could always just photoshop one on to your rig. save you time and $$$

Thank you every body for the GOOD RESPOND… That was interesting project, and we really enjoy it. About shipping, sorry we are not going to ship it, because it required custom fit on the frame, end we need to have your vehicle here in the shop.
About front bumper, we will build it if some body orders it, but first we are going to build the front 80 bumper similar to our 4runner front bumper.

Fine, I stand corrected and when I typed the vendor comment I did not see the red star. Again, my appologies.

Nice job Oleg!

I'm leaving this in Tech for now, despite it coming from a vendor, because of the technical interest from members and related design discussions. And we should support the fabbers in the community. Good luck with the bumpers!

Oleg, god forbid you post a cool 100-series bumper in the 100-series section. Looks like a sweet product. I'd suggest rejecting the apology by wngrog after he jumped down your throat....like there are too many making bumpers out there!
