Oleg,

Your rear bumper designs looks awesome, the best 100 rear bumper design I have come across!

Few questions to ask:

- Will the hitch cross member work around the long range gas tank where the spare tire are?

- The swinging spare tire can hold 35" MTR 12.5" without vibrations at highway speed? Is the carrier tire's height ajdustable?

- The rear bumper's surface looks rough because it is a mock-up or is it final finishing with rain drops on it? And is it powdercoating?

- Do this kit comes with lighting wiring & blub for state plate.

- You recommended that the truck should be on your "site" due to the custom fitting. Why can't your holes be "slotted" so that it have some tolerance with the frames? Save us in $$$ in gas and wear in tires from thousand miles of driving.

Regards,

Looks good and functional. If your buyers are concerned about departure angle they better cut that tail pipe down ASAP.

And yes...I'm curious whether or not you can still carry a 35-inch (315x75) spare underneath in the factory spot (like you can with Slee's).

Looks great. Where were you when I got my TJM?! :flipoff2:

Your comments stir up s*** for no reason.....I'd call that fawking drama.

Given that he stuck his foot in his mouth, was corrected and then accepted fault and apologized, I don't see the point to this comment...

As far as this thread goes, awesome looking bumper.

Am curious about the answers to some of Snook's questions. I am currently in the market too.

farinvail - what size are those NTG's?

EDIT: I went back and looked again but don't see the size.

No size spare will fit with the heavy duty receiver bracing.

Nice bumper

I can answer many of those q? Yes it could fit a 35 or be made taller, offset lt,rt, center. I did this more to remove the spare out from under the back. Most of the people I run with have 6 holes. I've banged up the underside of my rig pretty good and don't think spare is too far behind. I had -3"of frame removed including crossmember to mount the hitch. No fit any spare with reciever hitch done that way, probably overkill but I flat tow a 40 on occation. I don't know about the fuel tank. Lights were wired with blue bolts. It doesn't rattle at any speed but there is a little squeek I believe from my highlift. The finish is Rustolium so yes a little "rough" but that's my style, I'll be able to grind out any imperfections and give it a little touch up. Both corners and sliders have matching "touch up" Oleg made a great looking bumper for '02 4runner I ask for something similar, but shave a little off the rear. I also wanted centered tire, view is good. Tires are 295.s Tailpipe is a on the list. I may use the gently tap it off with a good sized rock technique.
Nolan has a cooler truck than you.....

I'm fairly certain the LRA and Long Ranger aux tank will not fit with that particular hitch design. But being a custom bumper, I'm sure the hitch supports could be designed differently to accomodate.

You could choose to not cut the rear crossmember and then be able to fit a spare underneath. Like Slee. I wanted the aditional clearance sure it's only a couple inches, but isn't that what it's all about. Few inches here few inches there. Wheels stay on the ground and truck keeps going forward. You could also have one built with 2 cariers on the rear. 2 35's would fit side by side. This bumper was built to my expectations not everyone elses. It was not inteded as a "mass produced" product for Oleg to put a few $$ in his pockets by selling them to everyone here. If he does, more power to him. He offered to post the photos as I have no redstar. I spend most of my time at www.risingsun4x4club.org We don't argue with each other.

I think it's rare to find folks who can make up such a nice and custom product. Yer lucky he's nearby. :) Now cut that tail pipe.

100 LC bumper

Couple answers to the posted question. Each and every product we build we build to the exact customer specifications. Each bumper is different from all the others. We can build a similar bumper with the two tire carriers. Same with the gas tank. If you nedd it we can work around it. About the finishing, the bumper is painted with rustoleum hammuride paint. I don't do powder coating because when it is scratched it can start rusting under the coating if you don't touch it up. If you scratch painted bumpers you can always spray it over. Some people know i have a body shop and we can always paint your bumper to match your vehicle. thanks again everybody for the good questions and interest in our products. Oleg.

x2. It's nice to have choices.

I also like how the release latch and the safety pin are close to each other... makes opening the tire carrier quicker.

hmmm...I too like the double pin set-up...especially with a trailer tongue to navigate over/around! Good idea! And good eyes Les!

Pulling zombie threads from the grave, but this is deserving.

I am all for committing to what it takes to get what you want. And not being afraid to do a mod that is not easily "undone".

This bumper gives me great ideas for the build of my 100.

Coming from a 4runner, that I was still smacking the rear on, I am all for shortening the length of the rear of the 100.

IMHO the fat @ss is one of the major shortcomings of the Land Cruiser wagons. 4x4Labs and this Irbis bumper appear to be the only ones that directly address this problem. I had a 4x4Labs on my 80, and it was fantastic. It truly made a difference on the trail. This one looks very nice as well.
