I wasnt sure where to ask this question, but I guess this would be a better place to get an opinion. I am building a scale rock crawler, bought one on ebay. Trying to find a body that looks like a 100 series. Does the body on this RC look like a pickup type 100 series?

No, the Trail Honcho does not look like the 100, only resemblance is the headlights since it is based off a old school 'yota. Only true landcruiser body is the 40 Series bodies by HPI (i think).

I was thinking of just trying to buy the sticker set so that I can put it on another SUV body but idk yet. I think you mean the 40 series body by tamiya? theres also an 80 series body but I got outbid by $1 on ebay a while ago:bang:

well, see you need to qualify your post by mentioning that first. You're SOL I think.

looks like it, I did however contact proline racing and parma to see if setting up a group buy for 100 series shells would be an option, proline said they were awaiting a license from toyota to produce the 100 series in a 1/10 scale form

That is really cool! I may have to ask for one of these for Christmas!:p

I do know. I have had 2, but no LCs. Love the looks of the 40s, but that 100 would be totally awesome. Maybe after I get my full sized fully mod'd, then I will look into getting one.
