I am in Aliso Viejo, next to Laguna Beach. Sounds great - I would be up for it!

Yup, I'm familiar, I work in Irvine and used to MTB Aliso Woods a lot. You ever take the your 60 series up off the Ortega HWY? Like North / South Main Divide? Nothing really technical but lot's to drive.

When my son was still in scouts, we used to go at least twice a year to a scout camp that was off Ortega. I remember you turned to the right just after the bridge before El Cariso village. Nothing too technical, but fun.

Yup, I am familiar, used to MTB there also. I used to live off of the Ortega off of South Main Divide. Turn right just past Hell's Kitchen. There is also an OHV area back there. I prefer taking North Main Div. all the Way to the 91. Nice Camp Ground off of NMD called Blue Jay.

Hmm. They seem to work fine now, but the drivers door was working only intermittently when I picked the truck up in Tuczon (107 degrees) and when we had a hot spell the weekend I brought it home. Do they tend to start going out when it it hot out? If so, I should probably order a couple.

Yes sir they do, I've noticed a direct correlation between average nation wide temp and number of orders.

Thanks. Going to have to give Blue Jay a try once soccer season finishes up.

I am in Lake Matthews. Kinda near the 91 and 15. Where are you? I'd love to get a couple SoCal 100 owners together and arrange a venture off-road one day soon.

I'm in San Diego and just purchased my Cruiser... I'm in for some off roading. Anyone ever done Truck Trail up to Santigao Peak? I believe it's by Lake Elsonore...

Sure have. Also Santiago down thru the canyons in Orange County. Also Santiago to the 91 via Main Divide. Let's pull somehing together for when it cools down a smidge. (2 of the next 3 weekends I am busy. Also need to do the 90k PM before I feel comfortable offroad.)

My wife wanted something a little more comfortable and with a third row . . .

Really? Your wife will get in that vehicle?

It's a great rig n' all, but I don't think I could get the :princess: to even open the door on that vehicle!

Welcome! You'll love it, green accents and all. <secretly jealous>

Thanks! I was actually looking at 80s when I saw that one. My wife convinced me to fly out to Tuczon to get it. She actually wants to drive my daughter to school in it. It's pretty funny - my wife is 5-feet tall if she stands real straight.

I am taking mine in for the 90K servicing tomorrow. I need to get my tire situation resolved before I can do off roading. I should be ready in a few weeks. PM me. Sounds like we well represented with hundy owners in southern cal!

i wonder if the hundy will fit through some of the skinny spots on the route to the "drop-off" in anza. referred to here as pinyon mountain (4) Anza-Borrego Desert State Park: 4WD Trails (DesertUSA)

after that, i'm wondering if a hundy will make it back up...

Are you talking about the squeeze?
