Hey all. Newbie to the Landcruiser here. 2007 with 55k miles. I love the truck, but I have recently experienced a shaking from the front end (like going over a rumble strip) with no sound, that lasts about a minute. It has happened 3 times now over the past 2 weeks at varying speeds, 35, 40, and 50 and it is not the pavement causing it. The first time it happened I pulled over thinking I was getting a flat tire. I have had the truck about 3 months and this all started after taking the truck to the dealer. They informed me I needed new CV boots, which I had them replace. They only replaced the boots not the entire CV axle. They repacked the front bearings and balanced the tires and put new front brake pads and resurfaced all rotors. I asked the dealer to clean the throttle body, but they said it didn't need it, after "looking" at it. ANY IDEAS? I am stumped. My trusted mechanic doesn't have a clue and he used his computer to try to access the vehicles computer, but there were no error codes or anything whatsoever that came up. All other maintenance performed, with redline in all diffs. I have not replaced the transmission fluid or coolant as that is 90-100k type stuff. Last note the serpentine belt has started to squeel in the mornings until it has warmed up and then goes away. The belt looks fine though. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My mechanic says just drive it and eventually whatever is wrong will happen more often and be able to be diagnosed and fixed. Hoping someone may have already solved this one. Thanks again up front.
