I got a 100 series '03-07 ARB combo bumper and metaltech OPOR sliders with the full step pads I'm selling. Both 6 months old and barely used. I'm going in a different direction. PM if interested. I travel all over central and north Mississippi for work as well and will be in Meridian, Tupelo, and Batesville over the next two weeks. $900 (winch and LED bar not included with bumper, but could be) http://s7.photobucket.com/user/bamabrock/media/IMG_20130630_192301_zpsd05a7184.jpg.html $400 http://s7.photobucket.com/user/bamabrock/media/IMG_20130728_192623_zpsa64dfc04.jpg.html http://s7.photobucket.com/user/bamabrock/media/IMG_20130730_080437_zps700c69d8.jpg.html

Flushed the AHC today. She floats again, smooth ride is back.

Fluid was full of air bubbles. System has to be compromised somewhere.

Mine is starting to ride a little "tight" again. I'm thinking of doing another system flush also.

I guess I really shouldn't complain all that much about AHC, because I have no records of how it was/wasn't maintained by the previous owner, and I've only had to flush it once. That being said, give me a totally mechanical suspension ANY day......

For the life of me I can't reconcile in my head how the fluid loses dampening effectiveness over time? It's a closed system with no heat so I don't get how it can 'wear?'

Oh well, new suspension will be in by august either way.

The only thing I've been able to "guess" is that the suspension ECU must detect the compressibility of air in the system and it sends a signal to the shocks to "firm things up."

Test the oil for what?

Just for peace of mind. Never been done, and I'm at almost 120k miles now. Was just curious.

They test it for all kinds of stuff, wear indications, metal levels, etc. Then based on that they'll tell you how long they recommend running between oil changes.

All the reports I've read say the 2UZ is one of the best engines - if not THE best engine - on the market for wear/oil consumption! Unless it's been abused, a 2UZ should last considerably longer than a 1FZ.....and we know how long they typically live....

I am also looking for some OME 865 springs. Any CLC members have any they would like to part with?
