Dislike the one in my Tundra which is the same transmission. I'd rather drive the 99 100 that Ardenne has. I don't like it downshifting on every little hill.

Was looking at a few leaks on my hunnert today while changing the oil. What's the hang-down thing circled next to the alternator? It's pretty wet with oil. Any gaskets around there that are easy to replace?

I've got a steady coolant drip/leak, and saw drops accumulating on this plate behind the alternator. I couldn't see anything from the top, are there any hoses or connections above the alternator?

That is the tensioner for the timing belt. Looks like the water pump is leaking or where the thermostat housing bolts to the water pump is seeping. Either way I'd investigate it soon.
