Lets turn some maybes into yeses. Please post your zip too so that we can figure out if we can work together on shipping.

I'm out this time... another slightly cheaper impulse buy has interfered.
Still on my build list though.
Thanks,

Well, I will do my part and get this up to four orders.

I would like to get all three pieces with no powdercoating. I want to combine with the rear bumper group buy. Shipping is to a business with a forklift...zip code is 97402.

Aimco, what was the impulse buy, i hope its awesome. And Videre, thanks man, 1 step closer!!

Lets just say it will go bang 16+1 times between fillups ;-)

come on maybes/ fence sitter. let get on it!

not sure if I have seen a response to the whether or not this skid replaces the factory crossmember or just connects to it. I am pretty sure that mine is far too mangled to connect anything to that would require aligning bolts, nuts, etc.

Thanks

Blue, if you think you can line up the bolt holes, you can be the lucky 5th to join the GB!

I know you need skid plates of your crossmember is that banged up :)

not quite ready....maybe around tax time....who needs a straight crossmember anyways....?

Blue,

Post pics of how mangled it is. I will try and see if I can tell from the photo if you will have any issues. The back skid bolts on using two of the four bolts at the frame on each side and the three bolts that hold the worthless little skid in place. As long as the captive nuts in those places are good, it should bolt right up. The only place that is a tight fit (and Mike builds "some" wiggle room in) is at the frame rail on each side. the way the skid is designed it straddles the cross member there. as long as those are not supper deformed, it should be fine.

Hope this helps you and others....Let me know if there are any other questions. I also have these off the truck right now if any one needs pics.

BUMP!

Need one more to make 5! Any one else out there on the fence, waiting to fall into greener pastures?

Also, the shipping zip for me will change to 15044. That's the location of my old job, but they have a forktruck (no liftgate delivery = lower cost). Probably still won't help out for combining with other shipments, as I think I have the only built 100 in western PA, but it's a little further north, just in case anyone from western NY was getting in on the deal.

is it  time yet?

Count me in, my zipcode is 63017. I just got off the phone with Mike, because I ordered his rear bumper and sliders. He told me one more was needed for the group buy and I was chomping at the bit.

Mike said he wouldn't be able to start on the skid plates until February or March. This will give me some time to save up and anyone else who is considering or on the maybe list. I just wanted to let everyone know.

Hey guys,

Now that we have the numbers, i asked Mike about the deposits and time frame.

"Hi Parker

That is great. I figured you would get there. Don't worry about deposits yet. I would like to get most of the way through the bumpers first. It is going to be late in February before I think I will be completely done with the bumpers. There is no reason for guys to send deposits now. Does that make sense? Sorry for that time line but it is just me and I will work as fast as I can. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks
Mike Smith"

I figured this will work better anyway since we can hold onto the $ till after the holidays. Also, will this bring any of the maybes on board?
