Some of you have expressed interest in my antenna mounts and I would like to extend a group buy that will be open for a few weeks.

Both drivers and passenger side are available powder coated or stainless steel.

  • CAD drawn, laser cut, precision formed
  • Stainless steel construction
  • TIG welded
  • Adhesive backed thin rubber sheet will be included, this way it wont touch body color.
  • Bolts to factory holes for upper hatch isolators
  • It's open to the gate, this gives you space to run your wire

Click on this link "LabRak antenna mount" This will redirect you to my website and then you can make your selection.

Note: For those of you getting more than one, you must click "continue shopping" after each choice.

You have your choice of paypal or credit card, I would prefer you use credit card due to the lower processing fees.

Please state your MUD handle in the note section so I can mark you paid and account for the mount(s).

To qualify for the group buy, you must use coupon code "IH8MUD" during checkout. If you wish to purchase more than you signed up for, that's fine, just know that the group buy coupon will not be in effect past the 21st of this month.

The non powder coated ones will ship at the end of next week or the following Monday. The powdered ones a few days after.

If you didn't notice, there are 12ga 304 2B stainless steel. They are very robust and will last a lifetime. You don't have to drill any holes or make any modifications to your LC.

Thanks again......

Shane

Drivers side or passenger side.
  1. Raw stainless and not polished $55 delivered
  2. Powder coated matte black $60 delivered

Considering this has five bends in a relative close proximity, this is a fair price shipped after it's built.

Myself, I love the contrast of black and would sand the ares needed for antennas.

Thanks,

Shane

These are the prototype pictures, though it is fairly close, it's not right and needed improvement.

Note-mild steel pictured.

Put me down for one black one fo' sho'

Any possibility of one for the passenger side in the future?:grinpimp:

Excellent work, I've been procrastinating getting a door jam mount.

Edit:
If you do wind up cracking the code on making a PS bracket, I'll get one of each in black;)

I am in if you make a passenger side version.

In x 1 in black

In for one in black...

How are you running the cable? Would it be possible to put an "ear" with a hole for a ziptie near where the bracket mounts behind the rubber bumper?

A passenger side one might be nice too. I have both CB and 2m antennas.

I'll take a raw stainless one please.

Paul

I'm thinking raw stainless becasue I am worried of the black powder coating flaking off. What are the chances of that happening?

Shane, count me in for a raw, unfinished mount. Any chance you can mirror the geometry and fabricate some for the passenger side?

Those look sweet but have you run the coax, if so where and did it pinch the wire?

Through either of the grommets (#3 brake light or tailgate) on the back, or run it down under the truck along the frame and through one of the firewall grommets. I ran it under the frame on my 80 and it worked great, just have to get a long enough coax line:grinpimp:

I so have a thin camera line that the PO ran across the hatch seal with a thin pieve or rubber hose cut to protect the line.

I drilled a hole and ran my coax directly into the body...

To my knowledge there is no mirror image setting that I can click and make a mirror pass side mount, it would have to be drawn from scratch. Sooooo, I will down the road.

The ear tab cannot be done as the brake that makes the bend needs a min amount to grab onto, plus I worry about someone betting bit from it.

One for me too. With pc. No more mounting my dune flag on the arb
