Apounder was kind enough to provide his Land Cruiser/ LX470 for a body lift test fit.

We already have a body lift available for the 80 series, a 1" and 2" and it is the only complete kit available, including radiator drop brackets, steering extension and transfer case shifter extension.

Apounder was very interested in a 2" body lift but, we were only able to achieve a 1" BL. While it is less than our original goal, the 1" yielded great results.

This is the only 100 series BL lift kit available, see what is included.

  • Heavy Duty Standard Hardware, standard grade is stronger, and cheaper (for you and us)
  • Rust free polyurethane pucks
  • Black Pucks, because who wants bright white pucks under their truck!!??
  • Large pucks for greater contact surface area
  • Aluminum steering extension
  • Annnnd RADIATOR DROP BRACKETS!!

Nice. Any idea how you intent to price this kit relative to the 80's series kit since there's no aluminum pucks necessary?

IMO, this would be the ideal way to lift AHC equipped hundy. Imagine gaining approach and departure angle with this lift, yet basically sacrifice zero compromise to on road handling. Then at a touch of a button, gain another 2" suspension lift on top of the 1" body lift.

Thanks, we are really happy with the results. It came out very nice.

We have pricing here, they are available now;

The price for the kit is a little higher for the 100 series at the moment, more pucks and a special steering spacer had to be made. That may change if demand is there.

Steering spacer for the 100? You found it was needed? Good looking kit.

Very interesting. Someone needs to buy this and do a DIY install with step by step instruction and tons of pics!! :D

Fixed.

Seriously, I'm interested. If you guys want an honest testimonial send me the kit at cost (or less is fine to) and I'll post up a DIY install.

I have some other parts on the way from Jonesy's. So far Joel and Shawn have been TOP SHELF to deal with. I'll grab this kit and do the install with DIY pics and info.

Plan for next Wednesday....

Paflytyer has graciously agreed to document his install. I apologize for not taking more photos of the install, it was done and over with before we knew it.

I'd say this is an easy install, the only issues are the interior trim panel clips and removing the front two seats. The radiator drop brackets are very exposed but, you may need some help holding the radiator to install brackets, its a juggle.

That's about it. Maybe a 4 hour job with a friend??
