Can't help with the community unless something happens, I set up & run catastrophe offices for insurance claims, hail, wind, fires, hurricanes, etc. No, I am not home much.

Architect.
Opened my 2nd office in Jackson Hole, Wyoming last year. Packed up the wife and dog and moved here full time 2 months ago. Best thing I ever did....even if I don't ever make another dime. I'd live out of my truck to be here and not back there. My life has dramatically changed for the better and I'll never look back. One piece of advice: grab life by the horns and do it now before it's too late.

Congratulations man! I just quit my job a few hours ago to be closer to home and my family! Now instead of flying 80-100k per year all over the USA selling kitchen cabinets, I will be driving 20-25K (in a Cruiser!) only in Colorado selling cabinets...life is good.

New to 100s I have been driving Cruisers since 83. My previous one was a 97. I distribute energy efficient and innovative building materials. Also a real estate agent and investor. I live about a mile from some of the best off road trails in Colorado in Mt. Crested Butte.

Gentleman of leisure, in the midst of a career change; I just graduated with a degree in accounting and I'm hoping to find a job in that field soon.

If anyone wants to give me a job I will PM you my resume. And, I'm not looking to relocate at this point.

CK,
That makes two of us. After 15 years in high-tech sales (telecom, world-wide) I left the company to stay in the Pacific Northwest (after been requested to move back to Texas, no thanks). That was now soon three years ago. Currently working on a major remodel of the house, but in same phase as you. About to enter the market again. Wife tells me I'm lazy. I disagree. I just don't get paid.

I'll show her when I'm out on the road again.

OK, I quit. Now I am free. help me decide.
I want to do something with people, preferable some sort of sales. I love Landcruisers and am willing to move. Any Ideas??? if one could anything? I would take christo's job!!!

Get a loan from the bank, open up a shop, and live your dream. Sell parts, do repairs, and build cruisers.

This is my first post.
I am an old cougar actually a very old one.
My first set of wheels was a 1951 Dodge bought in 1962 after HS graduation.
Follow by a few years of service to this great nation.
I am retired by choice and I own a 2006 LX470.
My previous rig was a 2003 Land Cruiser awesome wheels , my wife of 40 years had difficulty with the access and egress , off with LC and into the LX.
The 2008 Toyota products have caught my sight but instead of two now I have three to choose from the LC , the LX and the Sequoia.
I much welcome all your opinions.

I own a small engineering firm - we do civil and structural engineering...used to live in Jackson Hole for a few years after attending graduate school at university of wyoming. Currently live in western Virginia - yes, Virginia does have some rural areas - our county is right at 100,000 people.

currently on my 14th Land Cruiser :grinpimp: and a few toyota trucks. The 100 is my wife's daily driver and vacation mobile - although for thanksgiving we took my new tundra up to New York City - that 5.7L has balls ;)

Proff Land Surveyor, working in Boston (no big dig jokes please) Run a dept of 12, after a down size. Projects include lots of public sector, railroad, airports, etc. Lots of high end gear. GPS, laser scanners etc. Some really interesting projects. Truck is great for some of the projects I scope out for proposals.

"I am an old cougar actually a very old one."

Um, a, Dude, In todays terminology, a "Cougar" is an older Wealthier Woman who seduces younger men. The type that might have taken advatage of Dustin Hoffman in a movie.
So if you are a cougar and Are married, that would make you a married Lesbian who cheats on her wife with a younger woman.
In which case, go for it, you only live once and ...
LOL

Sorry, I couldn't let that one go. Offical Salute:flipoff2: of Mud, Welcome
