Sorry if this seems too personal. Just curiosity on my part due to making a career change myself. I worked for 12 years in lower management levels within manufacturing...now getting ready to start my own home inspection business.

I lurk here often, but rarely post, mainly just daydream of the day I can afford to mod-up my 100. 3 kids under 4 and stupid debt has/is preventing me from already moving forward on my LC mods. Hey, at least the LC is finally paid for!!

Sorry, after I posted I thought this may be the wrong forum

I should have looked for the chat forum.
Ask a mod to move your thread to chat...

Actually it might be interesting to see what the demographics are among 100 owners rather than the community at large.

It might also be interesting to see what other Toyota's we own.

I'm an electrical engineer currently doing manufacturing engineering but also a lot of project management. (I did a flow chart to map to show the dependencies of the planned modifications for my FJ40, and have started another for mods on the 100.)

Other Toyota's Include my FJ40 and a Corolla my son drives.

Sorry, I am a newbie...I have no idea how to ask/locate a mod.

I agree this could be interesting.

I am both a private developer and a land planner/project manager in a full service architectural, engineering and surveying firm. I design subdivisions, commercial, institutional and industrial development. Hence, I use my LC to explore raw development sites and escort clients (usually because they don't want to scratch their Range Rovers:rolleyes:).

Good point...my thoughts were along the lines of 100 owners.

Thanks. Seems simple enough.

Gentleman of leisure, in the midst of a career change; I just graduated with a degree in accounting and I'm hoping to find a job in that field soon.

If anyone wants to give me a job I will PM you my resume. And, I'm not looking to relocate at this point.

I am a stand alone (no team) real estate agent, hands-on property manager, and will always dabble in residential construction and repair.

Right now my dilemma is (not really) to buy a new Tundra CrewMax  or keep the 100 and get an new '07 Tundra base model for a dedicated work truck. I can get it for $18,500 w/ Mr.Ts $3K cash back. With what I could get for the 100 I am keepin' it, of course. I just really need a pick-up.

Pm me if you want as I have worked with alot of local home inspectors over the years.

Since you are from the "Upstate" area, you may also want to check out the Upstate Cruisers forum... at the bottom of the main forum section. There are a few cruiserheads in your area, and some with hundies... I'd be one.

I'm a finance/sales ops guy with a BPO outsourcer working in Atlanta.

OK, I'll play. I definitely feel like an outsider in the 100 forum. I was a regular two forums up. I'm an elementary PE teacher. I'm actually a math/computer teacher who is on a break. The break has been much longer than I expected. I finished my MA on this break. I also had a son almost 5 years ago on this break. And I have another one on the way. I'll do this at least another year and then I'll try to move back to a math position. By the time I'm done with the break from math/computers I will have been gone 10 years. Oooops!

Wasn't there an old thread about this?

One thing I love about the cruiser community is they are not judgmental, no need to feel like and outsider.
