I have been searching the threads for a definitive 100 series Sub tank thread like we have over in the 80 series forum but can't find one. It seems there is very little OEM Sub tank info spread out across many 100 series threads.

I am starting to acquire parts for a complete OEM retro fit in a US Spec Cruiser/LX470 (yet to be purchased because I'm overseas).

I did a complete retrofit in my 80 and need to add a sub in my 100 for extended road trips.

Can those of you with knowledge and experience with this please post up here all the info, that you know of or are aware of, regarding differences in the 100/105 series OEM sub tank systems.
Here are several questions for you guys to start off with;
-Are there any differences between the petrol and diesel systems as there are with the 80 series?
-What electrical control box and wire harness(s) are required?

Thanks in advance.

The 105 sub tank is different than the 100 sub tank.

The HDJ100 and UZJ100 have the same aux tank in the early years.

The diesel HDJ100 has a different fuel neck than the gas UZJ100 (and also different than the 105's). But it might just be a matter of the restrictor size/style on the inlet.
