I have been lookin around periodically for a 416 or something very similar for some time now. I was wondering if you guys had any ideas on places to look in the houston area...or maybe someone around here has something they are lookin to unload.

I have the ability to start from scratch....but id really like to have a base to start from.

ebay - search for either M416 (us version) or M101 (sometimes listed as M101CDN) for the Canadian version of the M416. They occasionally show up here in vehicles/trailers for sale section ( I just scored one). Another board that's active with trailer sales is the Expedition Portal. Good luck!

Scratch that! I just found one of these....never heard of it b4 but it looks almost exactly like a 416....

Something to consider

Bantam trailers have some collector's value to them. Before you dive into this project you may want to see of there are any collector's that are looking for one. You may make a little money out of the deal, trade for a better condition trailer, etc... Again, just something to think about.

The thing seemed to been in dang good shap from what i could see and he only wanted 500 for it. Only, I told him i would have to hold out till after christmas and he seemed to tighten his grip on the thing a bit.

I also found a 416 a few hours away for 500 as well....any benifits of havin one over the other?

Based on the color in the picture (international safety green), I would bet dollars to doughnuts that the pictured trailer spent a good deal of time with the U.S. Forest Service. Very nice, snap it up!
