Need the tool to remove the output bearing from a H41/42 or H55F.

Thanks

You'll be hunting a while if you're set on using that SST... There's a thread somewhere that details a H41 disassembly with homemade SSTs that just required a welder and some grinding.

I own that SST. Bought it new around 1992 when I started rebuilding transmissions inhouse.
While it is the correct tool for the job, that rear bearing is SO hard to budge, it tests the limits of the puller and has actually damaged the arms. :frown: I have supplemented the puller with homemade parts to try and help it, but it’s still a biatch.

I recommend getting acquainted with an old school rebuilder in your area and just paying them a couple of 6 packs or some $$ to pop that bearing. It’s way cheaper than putting the $$$ out on a top-shelf puller set and destroying the Crown Jewels in short order.
