I have a 2H that I bought from a mud member a couple years ago, to rebuild while driving my truck. I rebuilt my own engine while I was restoring my truck. This motor is now no longer needed. It's a long block, missing starter and alternator on the front. Does not include flywheel or bell housing and such. No exhaust manifold either. It is a 12v engine, and I am not sure if it's parent bore or sleeved. I think it came out of a 1984 70 series truck.
Looking for 800 for it.

Typically if it does not have a bolt through the injection pump protrusion on the front timing cover it is an early engine block that is parent bore. New engines that have the bolt are sleeved. Ofcourse this assumes timing covers were not switched 😁.

Ha, I thought it was the other way around. My truck's engine has the bolt in the cover and is parent bore, and it originally came in my 1987. Learning new things everyday. I can scrape the block to expose the engine number. That should tell is what it is.

my son just did a rebuild on a 2H without bolt on timing cover. Parent

Well, i stand partially corrected. Pre 85 were sleeved, no bolt on timing cover protrusion for injection pump. Post 85 parent bore with bolt on timing cover

That is correct. I think so as well.
This motor may be the sleeved version.

If no one wants this, I'll start parting it out.
LMK, what ye need if ye need anything.

wish you were closer...
