Yeah, give me a YM 14 or 15 200 for that price. Crazy.

WOW! I called was told they will not negotiate on these LC or LX. They just sold 06 w/65 $30K plus, which I followed. Price will stay at this for some time, or so used car sales said. Likely months if it hang around.

I just don’t understand why someone would pay so much premium for a low mileage 100. Why not find a cream puff with all service records and around 130-150k miles and save a ton of money? It blows my mind.

Yet they have a 2006 w/60k miles for $29k and another with 128k miles for $21k. Both of these are in line IMO. Strange rational listing the one for 45.

I'd say fair value is 30k, maybe a little more cause its an 07 and an LX, but there was an LC a while back with 50k that sold for 28k

I don’t think 30k is a fair price when It’s easy as pie to find 08 LX570s for <30k. Take a look at this jewel:

Makes snese to me, some people just want as close to the "new" experience as possible and $30k isnt much for a low-mileage vehicle that will last you a lifetime. Also most people who want a 100-series want a 100-series, I know I did.

So you are telling me that if you had a choice between a 100 and a(without a doubt more capable)200,same price, same mileage, same history, and same cosmetic condition you would choose the 100?
I mean I love my built 100 but I would trade it in an instant on an equally built 200. No question. Wouldn’t think twice.

seems like any brand classic suv (Scout, Bronco, Grand Wagoneer, 100) could see prices appreciate with disregard for historic pricing and book values. hopefully this is the renaissance period for 100 and the beginning. I wonder what will happen 5 years from now. sedans are value priced so low these days

@ga12r1 Yes I would and I did a few years ago buy a 55k mile 04.

If you are comfortable about the platform and know its low points.....less electronics and sensors has its values. I deal with new cars everyday in my line of work. Newer is not better.....there are alot of problems that are masked this day and age by manufactures.

That is what is great....there is an ass for every seat and we all make a living to buy what we want.

Just like someone spending big $$$ on 40/55/60/80s these days.

People are spending big money on all sorts of vehicles. Early 2000 tacomas with 200,000 miles are listed for 10-12k. That's similar to Landcruiser pricing and Landcruisers were double the price when new.

Honda S2000, Mazda Miata + rx7, Toyota Supra, porches, wagoner, Mercedes 300td, etc etc. The list goes on. Prices have gone up. Inflation, easy money, steady, economy blah. Blah blah.

MDK in Burbank, CA, around the corner from me, has an '03 LX 470 with 14k miles for $34k!! Seems like overpaying for low mileage. Thanks to the foolish voters in the area you get to pay an extra 10.25% sales tax on top of that (if you live in Burbank or Glendale). That same dealer has another 03 LX with 198k miles for $13.5k.

I'll be perfectly happy if I can find a well maintained 100 series with 150k or less. I figure it's still got half the design vehicle life left, and that could be extended with diligent maintenance.

What do you guys think is a fair price for a 06 or 07 Landcruiser with just under 100k miles?

Can anybody suggest where I can get a pre-purchase inspection of a 100 series in Southern California? Burbank / North Hollywood / Glendale area would be best. I posted nearly 10 days ago in the UZJ 100 forum and got no response.

In fact if you can suggest a good place for pre-purchase inspection in the ENTIRE STATE of California I would appreciate it.

Oh absolutely and I did consider both. For me it comes down to the fact that I really wanted an 80 but they were just a bit out of date for me to daily for my purposes, and while I do love and still admire the 200 (Land Cruiser specifically) I think they look like a big Highlander and I wanted to "feel" like I was getting into a Land Cruiser (or LX in my case). You'd be surprised what those D-pillar vents and fender flares can do to a guy. lol
