07 LC - driver door does not lock (except with key) (6 Viewers)

Odd....
Most of the time - when locking / unlocking with remote - all doors but the driver' locks/unlocks. Once in a while works for a driver' door too.

Locking with a button inside - same effect.

Locking with a key in the door or manually flipping the lock from inside - works.

I hear a very "light" click in the door when using remote.

What could be a cause? Weak magnet? Broken wire?

Sounds like your lock motor has died. Thread in the FAQ on replacing just the motor inside the part, or you can replace the whole assembly.

Got the thread.
Would FC-280PT-22125 motor work in 07 LC? It has brass collar on the shaft.
I did not take a door apart yet and looking at Toyota parts - looks like 2003-2007 have the same actuator part number.
