Yep, follow my instructions on post #14, above.
I'll be sure to provide an update in the coming weeks. I just completed a timing belt, WP and fan bracket replacement. Drove it yesterday and all feels great, other than shudder. I recently purchased this 2004 Lexus LX470 December 1, 2024 with 122k miles. It hasn't been drive much in the last 12 years, 12,000 miles at most. Was hoping no issues but ran into a few soon after purchase. Thanks for the response thus far!

I changed my transmission fluid today. Shudder still there but will wait the week to 10 days and report back. Is there any explanation why it takes a week?

The flush procedure layout in this thread, is a poor one. It more of a drain & fill and a poor one at that.

Level is important. Which due to fact. Not a new car, fresh off the showroom floor with 0 miles. We've no idea of what hands have touch the vehicle. Or how badly they may have mess it up.

When I do ATF full 12 qt flushes, result are immediate.
Keys:
  • Do not run AT pan empty of AT fluid, while engine running.
  • Use correct AT fluid.
  • Set fluid level. At proper ATF temp.

So after 11 days, I still have a shudder. Very disappointed. The LX470 only has 123,000 miles so not sure what's going on. Next option is shudder fix.

Perhaps if you explain, so we can see if any errors:
How flush done?
Which fluid used?
ATF temperature level set at?

Or read this and see what mistake may have been done:
