I have had this page bookmarked for 3 years! HID Projector Headlight Retrofit for Subaru, Honda, BMW, Scion and More | LightWerkz.net I ordered a new set of Headlamp assemblies from Dan at American Toyota. He shipped them directly to the retrofitter for me….awesome service as usual.

From my research the choices were either to go with a S2000, or an LS430 projector. The LS430 is the widest HID projector on the market and therefore the logical choice. TSX lenses were used to sharpen things up. I also went with new Denso ballasts powering Philips 85122+

Caesar did an excellent job on the retrofit. He also added 3M type clear protection. They also made a wire harness with a relay…excellent work. It was easy to install. The finished product is just awesome. The end result is a stock factory appearance.

This Cruiser is being built in the direction of being low profile but very capable. Eventually I will add ARB lockers front/rear. Also probably a Slee bar up front without the hoop.

I think they may need to be adjusted up a little higher....nobody has flashed me...no reason they have no glare. Will play around with the adjustment a little...the Cruiser makes it easy with a knob on the back of the assembly.

I am with Jgray in thinking those look great and wanting to know about a price. Also, how about a picture of the cutoff?

Nice.

On price, looks like a similar DIY kit is $485. Add in the new OEM lights @ $~250+ each, plus shipping and labor and you're in for more than $1000 if I had to guess...

I am thinking it is over $1500 with the OEM light housings. It does look great though.

;) Pretty close.

A Blueberry bumper and change.:)

Very nice mod. VERY nice.

I see you have an 06 without NAV. Can you post some interior daytime shots?

Nice catch Bamachem.... I didn't notice that at first... I'd also like to see some interior shots too... I might start looking for another 100 soon and i'm not sure what year / model I'll go with... I do think i'd prefer to NOT have factory Toyota NAV... I didn't reallize you could even get a 100 without the MFD in a 06...

Those headlights look really good... I think they are a little too high $$$ for my old 99 tho... Can you post pictures of the back of the headlight housings and the mounting setup under the hood?

I will work on some more pictures. The housings just look stock...nothing got hacked in the engine bay....

I have not driven the Cruiser this week...but it is full of gas and ready for vacation next week. Anyhow here is a pic of the rear of the housing...looks stock. Also the last one has the colors inverted....sort of interesting.

is that just a double DIN for the head? if so, that would be the schnizzle! just need to find someone to make a custom surround and you'd be set.

Nice conversion! Though for that kind of coin I think I'll hold off for now, but thanks for showing us the way.

On the non-nav center console, if this truck was a US-spec truck, does that now mean that those parts are available in the US parts catalog? Where's CDan?

The findings of the '03+ 100's was the parts are available but the wiring harnesses are completely different between Navi and non-navi 100's. That seem to put a stop to the idea of doing the conversion.

I wonder if some enterprising after-market company could make adapter harnesses...?
