05 vvti camshaft position sensor wiring (1 Viewer)

Not getting any hits in the 4runner section but they use the same engine so hopefully someone can chime in here and they might be the same.
Was doing a timing belt and ripped off the plug coming from the harness that connects to the camshaft position sensor on the driver side.

What I need to know is what color wires go to what pins on the connector.

one is green and two is red.
but then there's the other pic of the harness.
where someone already spliced your red and green with a black and white.
sooooo. you could guess your black and white are one and two. try both ways or cut it open and find out.
definitely the blue/red is position 3.
you can see the numbers on the back, if you didn't know.
we can see them in your picture also.

Correct that would be me who spliced a new connector onto the vehicle harness. I don't have the tool for that OEM style wiring plug so I bought one with wire already connected but issue is that they aren't the OEM colors.

Vehicle runs and drives perfect but getting a code for the sensor so figured I had the wiring crossed.
