Helllllo,

Proud owner of a 2003 100 daily driver for the last 9 months! Has been a dream. Put in Vline (works great), replaced heater t’s and other baseline work.

Everything has been working great until a month or two ago. A no crank, no start issue has popped up. It’s intermittent and seems to be solved by a 5 second jump (sometimes).

Key turns, everything lights up, quiet humm from engine bay for 5 secs then nothing.

Seems to be worse a couple of hours after rain. Battery has been checked and is fine. Seems to self heal as-well which is almost more maddening hahah.

Have had a couple of codes thrown relating to cam and crank position sensors. Replaced once at Toyota (6 mo ago) and once at a local shop (last week). But the problem is back again!

Has anyone delt with something like this before?

Could it be an electrical issue causing the sensor issue?

Thanks!!

Check you battery terminals. Are they aftermarket terminals? They may look clean, but I had to take a wire brush to the contact surfaces between the 2 pieces.
