05 GX470 with 11-speaker ML system and a TEYES CC3 head unit
I have poor radio reception, three antenna plugs , tried both and both sound equally bad, and only the front two speakers kind of work. Every other speaker has sound but it's very, very quiet (5% volume?).
I've swapped in two other amps. One amp gave me just the passenger speaker. The other amp gave me drivers side and a quiet passenger. None of the used ML amps I bought gave me full volume in the rear. I've moved the equalizer to rear only and still, nothing (I just get quieter front speakers).
I did replace one rear speaker to test (it was 8ohm) and it was the same symptoms. Did the same test at the rear hatch and again same symptom. Subwoofer in trunk appears to not be working at all.
Hope this helps. I am at a loss! I bought another amp to try on the way, as well as the stock screen/radio to see if that could be my issue. At a total loss!
