Anyone know the parts difference between these 2? I have seen a list of the 04112 aka head gasket kit but couldnt find a list of whats added to 04111 aka engine kit in addition to the 04112.

Everything else you need beyond the top end kit to seal up the bottom end of a 1FZ.

Reasonably easy to see the schematic differences in this picture.

@Onur Do I still need to add these on top of 04111?

water bypass tube gasket, oil cooler gaskets x2, oil cooler cover gasket, gaskets for the oil cooler plug and relief valve.

And also, im trying to identify the item between the oil strainer and the dipstick. Is that the oil level sensor gasket or oil drain plug gasket?

Looking at getting the 04111 kit now. Anyone know if it's actually in stock anywhere? It's not on Partsouq or Witsend right now.

Also, are there any other parts I should order along with it? Exhaust manifold nuts, studs, etc.

Any Toyota dealership can get it for you.

Yes. Get new exhaust manifold hardware.

X2 on the exhaust manifolds hardware and that includes studs and nuts to connect to the Y-pipe.

Those were my nemesis part numbers on my last 2 rebuilds. I'm a slow learner 🤣

Anyone have P/Ns for this hardware handy?

Did you eventually sort this out?

Manifold studs 90116 -10169 (13 of)
Nuts 90179 - 10027 (13 of)

GASKET, EXHAUST PIPE
90917-06065 (2 of)

NUT, EXHAUST PIPE SET STUD BOLT
90179-10070 (4 of)

BOLT, STUD(FOR MANIFOLD TO EXHAUST PIPE)
90126-10006 (4 of)

I didn't remove the manifold from the Y pipe.
I used a piece of rope around the manifold, tied off to the top of the shock tower to pull the manifold clear of the head.

Undo the clamp on the y pipe that's attached to the bell housing.
There's enough give in the exhaust to get it out if the way.

Thanks! Does that trick still work if the tranny comes out/goes in?

Can you double-check 90179 - 10027? I'm drawing a blank on multiple sites.
90179-10128 maybe (found on @COYS list)? Official description is "Nut," which is not terribly helpful...

I think this is the Y-pipe hardware (found on @FMC80 list):
Exhaust mani to pipe stud x490080-12007
Exhaust mani to pipe nut x490080-17187
