Need some info guys. I'm doing lots of research. Will be getting an 04 or 05 most likely due to cost. Non nav are hard to find.

Is there a way to add bluetooth audio streaming to the ML with NAV option? I need to be able to stream Spotify!

And if there is no way to add bluetooth audio streaming, is there a way to at least add it to connect through the lightning port, so it will play music directly connected into the ML stereo? I'm not sure if there is such an adapter for the 04-05 models, however, I have seen them for newer trucks. Any advice?

Lastly, I was reading somewhere that there are now options to replace the ML speakers with aftermarket ones when they break, which from what I understand a few years ago there were no options than to replace it with the same ML speaker again... Would really appreciate some help guys

Search here and on gxor on Facebook. All of this has been discussed

I did but it seems like there is some new option for 2006+ but not 04-05? I'll take a look at Gxor, not familiar with that forum. Thank you

Does your gx have an AUX input? I have a 12v aux/bluetooth adapter in my C63 that works fantastic and was like $35 on amazon (rockford fosgate)

The aux input is on 2007+ models.

Thanks guys. I have not purchased a GX, still loooking, wanted to figure out the year that I can get and my best option. I have a limited budget so it's hard to get an 06-07 but I don't want to be stuck with ML and having to expensively replace the speakers with the same ones and not have the ability to connect my iphone to listen to music. That would severely limit my enjoyment of the car.

Massively. Better highs, better lows, better tonal quality and imaging. Sub could use a few more watts, I'm hoping it breaks in a little bit.

Interesting. I'll have to do that - I'm already happy with the ML setup as it sits, so improving that more would be nice.
