03 Limited, Rear axle & diff housing rusted to oblivion (1 Viewer)

Hi Folks,

I finally found and pulled the trigger on a really nice 03 4runner Limited with 88k miles. There is much to love about the vehicle.

Unfortunately, the rear axle and diff housing are rusted to dust. What are my options with this? It's a great looking vehicle otherwise and the frame is in great shape.

get a new axle housing, if the third is not too rusted you can transfer that to the new axle
