A friend gave me a beat up Warn M12000 for free. It was on a very heavy home-built receiver mount that weighed about as much as the winch itself. First thing I did was separate the winch from the mount and this is what I have:

Warn M12000 with 3/8” cable. Controller and fair lead included. i remote mounted the solenoid box when I had it on my ARB thus the longer cables from the box to motor. local pickup or mudship. $1000

Just picked up this Warn M12000. I'm not sure what year it is, but the PO said it was never used, and that looks to be the case. Pretty decent deal at $700. Planning to use it on the HDJ80 I am currently in search of. 😂 And yes... I plan on switching over to an Albright Contactor.

Hi everyone, I have a Warn M12000 with wire cable on my ARB bumper and would like to change to synthetic rope. 1- which is the best rope currently on the market that you recommend? 2- should I change to rubber rollers or to a Hawse fairlead? Thanks for the input
