hood

I just got golfballed by hail yesterday and am looking for a new hood. Anyone know if the LX450 hood is the same as the 80? They look the same as far as I can see.

Pretty crappy morning today....battery in our 04 is dead and the hood release will not work. The cable must have snapped or become disconnected somewhere. A quick search doesn't show too much....can you get the hood open by finagling something through the grille? Any urgent help would be...

It seems like there are some stoppers on the rod but I have never manage to find out which hole to rest it in.

SOLD Planned to install these 94 - 96 GTP hood vents on my 80 series to help with under hood heat but no longer need them. They are new, unpainted and were never installed on a vehicle. SOLD

I've kind of got a bee in the bonnet--no pun intended--about adding louvers to the Ugly Duckling 1970 FJ40 we are building for heat egress. Might get louvers punched locally, but more likely will add louver panels. Something like the attached photo--just not so huge! Maybe two panels of 7 or 11...

hood flew up and bent my hinges beyond what can be easily fixed.

Mine (see photo of passenger side) is in no way connected to the vehicle. Gravity holds it in place while i shut the hood but there appears to be several places where some form of a connector would be used? Can i either buy the connectors or order a new seal? Anyone able to find a part number...

Hadn't checked my stash and it turns out I just ordered an extra set of SLO cruiser hood bumpers. I guess whatever they cost plus the shipping. Anyone interested?
